The Dynam F6F is here!
I've been loving a load of planes lately, and I am presently prepared to proclaim- this is another great Dynam plane! These are designed for the scale concious pilot who's on more of a budget- it's nearly as impressive as the FMS Hellcat, but it's a lot less expensive to fly and maintain. The batteries are cheaper, and the props (the most breakable part of any prop plane) are way less expensive. If you want, you can put in a little time and liven up the flaps and lights, so you get the benefit without the up-front cost. Looks great, flies like a bird, and comes through with the VERY realistic looking aerobatics- a GREAT show plane because of how realistic it looks in the air. (As usual, I'm describing a test plane that we flew with the MAX Crashproofing installed. If you already have a plane that's reinforced, you know about the better handling characteristics of a stiffer airframe, and how much more stable they are in flight- the VERY smooth flying look of a real plane!)
The Grumman F6F Hellcat is the newest addition to the Dynam 4 cell line, and it's a gorgeous- another smooth tracking near perfect flier, once again with the serious fighter handling, plenty of power, a big honkin' prop, lights, servoless retracts, and it's flap ready like the rest of them. I livened my flaps up on this one too, and you can check out our How-To video on Yootoob to see how to link the "split" flaps (2 flaps per wing) so they work on one servo.
This plane has got an EASY place on my "favorite planes" list- I admit the list is getting bigger, but I think that's a very GOOD thing!
A word about the "Crashproofing". we've been designing reinforcement kits for foamies for almost 3 years now, and we've learned a few things. First, we've learned where to put the rods for the best effect, and that effect keeps improving- wait til you see the latest video examples, they're simply stunning. ADynam Mustang diving into pavement at full throttle - and living to fly another day! if you haven't seen it, get ready to have your mind blownodi
