The new Airskipper 90 combines cutting edge technology from JR, accumulated while winning many national and international R/C Championships. The result is a model that responds precisely to the pilot's stick inputs. This exciting new model reflects the latest in R/C heli design, as developed by F3C World Champion and Taiwan Cup winner, Hiroki Ito and 3D pioneer, Curtis Youngblood. So whatever your flying style - 3D, Freestyle or F3C - this is the model for you. It is very reasonably priced and is ideal for pilots who are flying a 90 size model for the first time.
Airskipper 90 has a strengthened 12mm diameter main shaft. The rotor head uses an 0-ring damping system, in place of traditional rubber dampers. The head response has been further improved by adopting a new stabiliser paddle design with adjustable weights. and altering the Bell Hiller and correction rates. The adjustable seesaw arm allows for changes in pitch ranges, allowing it to be altered to suit various flying styles.
The main frames are produced from a special fibre, giving high rigidity and vibration absorption. They look great too! By altering the servo
the Airskipper 90 can be built with either a CCPM (standard) or MPM swash control system. You can convert it to MPM by using optional parts. The clutch system is a lightweight type. A stylish FRP canopy gives this model a sleek, modern look.
By using a two step main gear, the direct drive tail system allows full control of the tail during auto rotations. The newly designed tail case includes a metal tail pulley. This, combined with the wide drive belt, tensioned by a pulley, means that the belt is less prone to slipping, giving improved performance during high speed backward flight.
WARNING
Airskipper 90's design assumes that highly skilled pilots will assemble and operate this model. We don't recommend this model to beginners who can not operate the helicopter by themselves. Even if you are an experienced pilot, please exercise caution and safe practices when flying your Airskipper 90. Make sure to read the "Please read through before flight" section in this manual and keep these notes for future reference.
